A few things to know

Alnside Lodge sleeps up to 10 in four en-suite bedrooms. For up to 12, book Lesbury Lodge, the self-contained annexe, separately at an additional cost and subject to availability. An Alnside booking does not reserve the annexe.

The private hot tub is included April–October. November–March, hot tub use is optional at £100 per stay; please arrange it with the owners. Wi-Fi and parking are available on site.

A day by the sea

Slow down in Alnmouth

Start with fresh sea air, leave room for a leisurely lunch and come home whenever you feel like it.

Take a beach walk and enjoy the views along the shore.
Wander through Alnmouth village and choose a spot for a bite to eat.
Back at the lodge, settle into the lounge and compare everyone’s favourite moments.

Make a day of the castles

Choose one outing and give yourselves time to enjoy it. Alnwick and Warkworth are lovely starting points.

Plan a visit to Alnwick Castle, or spend your outing exploring Warkworth Castle and village.
Check the official opening dates and book tickets before setting off.
Return to Alnside for a meal around the table and a relaxed evening together.

No rush to go anywhere

Enjoy a day at the lodge

Some of the best holiday days need very little planning. Make the most of having everyone together.

Start with breakfast at your own pace in the kitchen.
Set up a friendly pool tournament, or curl up in the lounge with a good book.
Cook together, gather around the dining table and make an evening of it.

Hot tub use is included April–October; November–March it is optional at £100 per stay, arranged with the owners.
